Minx is a solid nail overlay, created like the decals designed for race cars.  Minx is heated then molded to form the same shape of your nail. The decal melts under the heat lamp and adheres to the nail. Then using a nail file and scissors, the excess 'sticker' is removed and typically lasts longer than a basic manicure. Minx nail coverings can be used on acrylic, although the results are not always as lasting in comparison to natural nails. In addition, there must be some free edge for the nail technicians to work with.
